His Lovely Charm

His lovely Charm
He
tells me he loves me
and how much he really cares
the brotha even tells me
that he breathes my air
He gives me these speeches
about how I'm the only one
He caress my wounds
and feels the pain
of hurt and regret of
lives short lived and
memories laid to rest.
And as cliche as it seems
you could even say that the
brotha was my safety net.
Buy as start to give in
to his lovely charm
I start to fall in
and his feelings begin
to unravel the truth
of what i should
have already knew
his lies and his speeches
and that lovely charm
was just a easy way
to get what he wanted
and in the end
I was left with a heart of ice
and love only filled by battered lies.
