His Last Sigh
HIS LAST SIGH
In budding youth, we were tied with emotional bond,
being extremely fond
of each other, enjoying life in merry and mirth.
Call of life separated us to choose different path.
Least and last consolation left, that we are living on same Earth.
Phone calls or to message,
greeting cards to exchange
throughout the year were the mere contacts.
These consolidated facts
strengthened our virtual closeness
continuing mental freshness.
Today was my Birthday.
With eager heart
expecting warm wishes and pray
on his part.
Instead, message burst.
‘My Grandpa passed away this morn
at early dawn.
He remembered you in silent cry
on last sigh.’
