His Heart Chose Another

He told me his love for another grows.
His words stung like a thousand nettles
Another woman to love, he chose.

A rain of salty teardrops fell upon a rose
and withered its delicate coral petals.
My wounded heart ached in painful throes.

I can't imagine the pain of being told your partner is in love someone else. I guess there are many who can relate:-( hugs jan xx7
