His Footprint

Oh how justice does pursue, pursues in order to punish
Yet One pursues you, yet the punishment He'll dismiss
So greater is He than you, and yet He seeks "you" out
Your very face He "Drew" and so the praises we shout

He paid such a great cost in the forgiveness of each soul
Seeking out all of the lost such an awesome God we extol
Walking along your side... many times He carried you too
The gap was never too wide for His amount of love for you

Pursuing us all continuously for He has a great love for all
He only wants you to be free not wanting any of us to fall
His Love no one could ever imagine but one day will see
As for that sin only in the Blood of Jesus will you be free

Knowing each hair on your head and your deepest pain
Yet not knowing all that He said as such time does wane
Like Footprints on the beach... many times carrying you
No one ever being out of His reach and nothing more true

John 14:23
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me,
he will keep my words: and my Father will love him,
and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
