His Eyes

His eyes,
piercing my soul,
gentle and caring,
making me feel whole.

His eyes,
like a gentle breeze,
making me feel refreshed,
and completely at ease.

His eyes,
like a cool clear day,
making me feel rejuvenated,
like a dip in the bay.

His eyes,
so gentle and kind,
help me forget my hurts,
and leave my past behind.

His eyes,
gazing attentively at me,
help me realize I'm special,
and as Heavenly Father wants me to be.

His eyes,
should make me want to run,
but somehow there is comfort,
I don't quite understand.

His eyes,
are the windows to his soul,
and what I see inside,
is pure gold.

His eyes,
reminding me of heaven above,
overwhelm me with the promises,
of our Heavenly Father above.

His eyes,
are those I seek to find,
To share my life,
With one so gentle and kind.

His eyes,
what is meant to be?,
only in time,
will we from the Heavenly Father see!
