His Birthday
We are well into December,
Christmas time is drawing near!
A time of joy and happiness,
it won't be long before it's here!
Santas elves and reindeer,
Rudolph's nose so bright!
Christmas trees and decorations,
carolers singing in the night!
So have a happy Christmas.
It's a joyous time of year.
Enjoy your friends and family,
but keep this one thought clear!
The thought that I refer to,
when you arise on Christmas morn,
is that today's the day we celebrate,
when Jesus Christ was born!
Let us pause for just a moment!
Offer up a prayer or two!
Remembering, it's HIS birthday
So, it's important that we do!
Yes, jingle bells and one-horse sleighs!
A glorious time, no doubt!
But, let's make sure that we remember,
what Christmas time, is really, all about!
