Hindsight

To look at things after they happen
Is to learn and see and grow
It's almost like a slap in the face
What you reap is what you will sow
Typical People don't think of this
As they go about their way
Living by the will of their own
While karma builds everyday
They don't know it themselves
How it effects their being
About how they live their lives
Until through hindsight they're seeing
The wrongs of their past
Things they should have done
By then it's too late
Cause now karma has won

Well said .Your whole poem every line you wrote is a metaphor, I like that. It is a lesson to learn and life is like that Robert.
