Highly Favored
Their garden location is given top priority.
They are noticed, observed, loved, and
Placed at the very front of our home.
I see them as I enter my property, and
They catch my eye when I am leaving as
They make eye contact, realizing they are special.
Many-color offerings, well suited to my eyes.
Roses, beautiful flowers, and a great name.
Even the sound of 'Rose' soothes my soul.
Red, white, or pink; take your pick.
Roses give me far more than they take.
Roses, my absolute favorite for many years.
A little water and pruning are adequate.
Don't worry about the thorns; just beware that
Anything of such beauty has a right to be guarded.
