Higher Place
She'd seen photos of the Earth taken from space
But a photo couldn't capture the majesty of it
She wanted to make that journey
She had to wait a bit
Then on a moolit night
She took a ride in a moonbeam
To see what Earth looked like from space
She had already seen the photos, but she deemed
To see it from a higher place
When she finally reached the moon
She looked back at Earth
She was so awed that she began to swoon
A gem glowing blue for all its worth
In all of the universe where stars shine bright
The Earth is a jewel, a beautiful sight
It moves through space by God's design
The universe is ruled by a power divine
When she rode the moonbeam back to Earth
She was all aglow and filled with delight
She had seen God's glory and his might
As stars twinkled above, shining bright
