Higher Perceptions

All perceptions taken in
Drowning out my selfish nights
Gone back to where it all begins
Every person reaches for their light

All my deeds remember how
To only let sanctity spread
Wrong to break the world right now
Just because of what my loss said

All my good will shelter me
Now it’s time to admire the rain
On to setting myself free
As I’m feeling for the breeze again

All my efforts fall away
As I drift into invisible flow
On to hearing what I say
And into taking in the things that you know

All perceptions turn to one
That search for a brighter day
Gone but always coming back
We only have to clear the way
