Hieroglyph and Hologram
Your heart is a stone
inscribed with cobras, vultures, ribs and reed.
You say what I see is not what you mean.
You confound me with sounds.
One word is a zoo
with water that ripples—
an arm in the pool.
My love is a laser
that dazzles the screen
projecting an image, an effortless read.
And you, so resilient, but ancient, alone
mistrust my projections unscripted in stone.
I can’t help but love an uncrackable code.
With heart holographic, this coupling can float.
