Hiding Your Fake
I shouted fire
they called me liar
mocking joking and knocking me down
until they all noticed smoke
When I told them I don’t want you now
I told you I was in trouble
and you made it worse
treating me so horrible
Until smoke when our bond burnt
Insulting me, say I lie,
and for your attention too,
am I that guy?
Don’t flatter yourself
I don’t want you in my life,
I'm gone now and you wonder why.
As you created damage
that I lived through savage
I realised how you look at me,
I leave and still you look for me
You don’t suddenly appreciate,
your reputation is at stake,
people know you were no mate
and you hate that because you’re flipping fake
