Hiding Rain

Drizzled drops
Of dripping rain.
Sprinkles down
And hides your pain.

Drops of tears
Stream down your face.
The painful days
You can't erase.

But in the rain
It hides your tears.
Giving in
To all your fears.

No one sees
The pain inside.
For in the rain
You can hide.

Lighting hits
And thunder bounds.
No one hears
The whimpered sounds.

So this is why
I love the rain.
It hides your tears
And all your pain.

So in the end
You don't hide.
Rain veils
The pain outside.
