Hiding In Pain

Depression comes with pressure and pain
Suicidal thoughts seem to be the case
They all seem to be Stuck in your head
Got no one in your corner but still wish
Someone can bring some light to your dark shade

Still looking for someone
you can blame
Confidence seem to fade
Bottled up emotions
With a lot of shame
Wishing heaven can
open its gates
Since you think you failed

Wishing for blessings to
come your way
But be told it is impossible
unless you pray So have faith

You're still yourself none has changed
Its time to face your problems
Because this goes stage to stage
And might end up being worse
Causing a lot of pain

Gladwin, it is amazing to me that so many hide in pain, not realizing we have help in the form of suicide hotlines in every phone book, and they can be googled. But when you are in the throes of depression, the right brain shuts down, deferring to the hurting, angry hiding feeling depressed brain. Nicely done indeed. Welcome to Poetry Soup!
