Hiding From Fear

I'm hiding from the world
My fears, my life
The troubling past
And my feelings inside
I can't run,
I can't hide,
But I can try.
Deep in the corners of the forest of fear,
Darkness looms before me.
Eating and consuming me
Trying to find my inner heart.
Wishing that it could pull me out of hiding.
Make me afraid,
I try to hide more,
As darkness surrounds me,
I know
Fear abides in me
Hiding,
Trying to eat me away,
When this mask of mine slips away,
All will be fine,
Until vengence is MINE.
