Hiding

HIDING

Hiding behind a tree
I was stunned drowned by ice
Please don’t made me see
Series of tears flowing in the eyes

Thought of you impressed me
You’re not the boy that I should dream
But what’s this feeling you’ve shown to me
Expecting, Assuming and eyes went dim

Crumpling the letters you’ve given to me
Holding so tight in tree’s trunk
Cursing that girl, your heart lock’s key
Want to bump her by a truck

But boy , I don’t have the right
I don’t know if you love me
But your words in the letters told me to fight
Or maybe you saw her better than me

I want to break that kiss
But I can’t move, still hiding behind a tree
No enough brave to face
Surrendering that you’ve chosen her over me.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
