Hide My Heart

Expose my heart
Open it wide
The light is burning
Trying to hide
You pushed me over
And over again
I never wanted to
Show you
And now it’s the end
Yeah, “show me, show me”
Is what you said
So I did and
Now look what I get
Pain, pain, pain instead
So guess what now
You’ll never get
My heart is closed
And I don’t regret
It’s safer, safe, and safe for me
Never to let anyone see

Wow...it's like you know. This is very deep and sentimental to me. Great job.
