Hidden Underneath
What's inside matters did your mother ever know,
Did she raise a species of man to believe In others,
As attitude quite shows,
In depth research displays true nature,
You have decency I can see,
Looks can be deceiving aren't we,
I see you gander in ways that I can't be seen,
And also pay attention because what I am is not mean,
Maybe it's for protection like an outer shell,
Like what family does to one socially,
Oh well,
We can say we tried but all must know,
Did you really become yourself,
Or did we let a monster just grow?
