Hidden Things

   Slippers leaning against the wall.
Kicked off during the evening sprawl.
Wet washcloths hang in plain sight.
Soap bars oozing in the night.
   Dirty clothes bundled in joy.
Trash cans overflow too the eye.
Left over wine bottles that glow.
   Hidden things from your eyes.
   Cleaning up.
   Before you arrive.
