Hidden Shadows Espinela

Hidden by shadows in plain sight,
is where I can find deep cover.
Take a no-name faceless lover,
allow heartbreak to lose the fight.

I did not abandon the night,
stars just no longer suited me.
Sunshine shields affectionately
leaving a hug inside my veins.
Not a trace of darkness remains
in the prose I was meant to be.
