Hidden Or True
Some people hide their eyes,
Hide their soul, stay in disguise.
Some people are too afraid to become who they could be,
Are dwelling too much on what people are telling them they should be.
If only we could live up to our potential and see what only God can see.
There’s always room to say ‘no’, to set boundaries, to learn, to grow.
Some of us just don’t know how to, we just don’t realize...we just don’t know.
As you become yourself, don’t be pulled down by worldly measures,
Be uplifted by knowing that you are God’s child and unique treasure.
Do not be afraid to become yourself, to be emotional, to be logical, to be spiritual, to be true,
Because that is fearlessness: when you choose to pursue and become the real you.
