Hidden In Plain Sight

A lost soul, a humbling sight,
An eternal war, an endless fight.

A hidden door in plain sight,
It won't open, it's locked tight.

She wants to be free, she wants to take flight,
And so she fights with all her might.

Fear and pain, she wants out of sight,
She wants to feel joy, she wants to see light.

A crooked path, an ebony night,
She doesn't know which way is left or right.
