Hidden In Plain Sight

An uneasy truce is reached
Between the mind and heart
In staid silence they entwine
But for most part stand apart

A rude elbow nudges our ribs
Feral residue of our dark past
We wish to be free but cannot
It seems destiny’s die is cast

Dying dusk casts a long shadow
Ignoring love’s wafting fragrance
Yet humming heart wistfully sings
In a burst of playful exuberance

This see saw battle continues
Unnoticed by near and dear ones
Bliss beats rise signalling dawn
Luminescence of a thousand suns

Battle between heart and mind is for those high up the ladder. Nations leaders fight the battle while poets just pitter patter.

To be succinct, it’s head-heart conflict, that ends when we’re love inked.

Life is complex and oft mysterious. We live, love and die. Only God's light and truth makes a difference that truly matter. A fav.. God bless. 3SH

Thank you, Robert. When internal shifts occur, there is a definitive change within, a transformation brought about by divine bliss magnetism. We may wish to share but no one can pair, in as comprehend what we wish to convey. That’s why it is said, it’s an open secret hidden in plain sight.
