Hidden Children

we step into the twilight
within a hedge between
we step without a sound
upon ancient ground

a star barer burning bright
in each of us is known
we are the Hidden Children
of the sacred grove

we mumble in our sleep
drooling in a heap
dancing are our spirits free

a star barer burning bright
in each of us is known
we are the Hidden Children
of the sacred grove

the goat footed wild man
plays an endless song
we dance and stammer wildly
until our deaths we stop

a star barer burning bright
in each of us is known
we are the Hidden Children
of the sacred grove
