Hidden

Isolation.
No visible walls.
Prison, nonetheless.
Wounds from the battles.
Only scars remain
From wars not won.
Hiding from enemies
That cannot be seen.
In time, they find you
Again.
This battle is long.
A lifetime, at least.
Who will win,
You or the beast?
My prison has walls,
But you cannot see.
Their only purpose...
To protect me.
