Hidden
The day is sunny and warm
The kind of day when life seems easy
Everything is uniform
A smile touches her lips
It appears genuine
However, inside is a true eclipse
Outside appears radiant and bright
Mirroring the day’s beauty
While inside the darkness holds tight
Hiding the true sadness of the soul
The loneliness and confusion are still
Keeping this life from being whole
The beauty hides the storm
Protecting the wearer
From an emotional swarm
