Hey Bill

There is a little extra specialness about her She had caught my interest at breakfast Her pretty curly auburn hair like my mother’s. None of the feelings I have say mom though. She gave me a quick glance and I saw blue eyes. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, I thought. A sucker for blue eyes, I wanted to think this through. “Hi!” she said. So much for thinking. My heartbeats quickened. I pointed to myself and shrugged my shoulders. She laughed; it was a magical, faerie tinkle. I watched her jump up and walk to the water’s edge. No harm in watching I told my body as it twisted around. Wanting to see more, eager and excited. She came back wet and cute. Damn! I was a goner. Some guy yelled at her. She waved and yelled “Here!” She was taken. Another damn. A silent disappointed damn. “This is Adam,” she said to me “And you are?” I nodded at the TV star handsome guy, hating him instantly. “I am Bill,” I said. Sad that this was over before it began. “I am trying to figure out how to get Bill to invite me to lunch” she said. Adam rolled his eyes; they were identical to her eyes. “Why can’t you let him think about it?” He asked. “My twin is so impatient,” he told me.
