Hesitation

Hesitation
Lucid, crystalline
diamonds seep
from skies
of steely grey.
The tears from heaven
lovingly weep
to save my soul today.
Amidst a garden
of raindrops fallen
my heart is heavy;
my soul is sullen.
I look to the horizon
and await the cure
the cleansing gift
of innocence so pure.

The wind kicks up
and steals the feel.
Shouting a resounding...

STOP!

I await...all things hesitate
anticipating the next raindrop.

The rain suspended
in a mid-air tease
motionless
against the breeze.
The sun emerges
from the shrouds
and bends the light
breaking the clouds.
All my worry
simply flees
rainbows and diamonds
dance upon
the rainstorm scented breeze.
