Heroic Tragedy

I hear the pain in his voice as he sing the song from his soul Making me wonder why did they chose a memorial marathon to bomb was it to inflect more pain upon the Boston souls Man on T.V. Said all he could do is pray Lord dont they know your the light the truth the way Even though sometimes I demolish that same truth Even though its the same advice that got me through Maybe its because even knowing the fact God is not a God of confusion But in flesh we fall short of his glory and for the.devils illsion Listened to others and that same advice almost killed me All because in todays time people can't let others live happy The man I sacrificed my pride life yeah my all and all for tried to turn me into some type of crack whore Found out after his daddy proved to his mother that they wasn't gonna make it anymo Lucky somebody prayed for me because I could've been dead with my body floating up sea Why you putting out this story that gives reasons for them to talk about you They talked about Jesus and he was perfect through and through I need to let the weak know they can be stand tall Ive been done dirty by the ones I trusted the most but the names I wont call Watching them.live their lives like nothing wrong passing judgement on others like you aint got no sin Now you got kids and my day starts off with a prayer for them My parents dont struggle because my Education is my hustle I am a Goddess A Queen A hero ready to take one for the team I hate watching the news just to hear my generation shatter there dreams Drugs sex violence the world that surrounds me But I wont let it hold me back another day Look in the mirror with me and what do ours eyes say
