Heroes
On the royal borders,
Soldiers on heavy alert,
With guns slung on shoulders,
To blast some heads apart.
An army like the innumerable sands,
Douse the danger from without,
Then conquer worlds and ancient lands,
'Come heroes without a doubt.
The helm of men who challenged death
And caressed its ugly face,
Then passed the gateway, left
Towards life's rugged ways.
Flying darts in a darkened sky,
Daring fear with rage,
Body dead, soul far up high
On a brand new stellar page...
