Hero Or Villain

Is he a hero or villain?
Archer or swordsman?
King’s son or chef’s bastard?
People claiming to know
Could not possibly

He walks into the battle
A full-grown man
Ready to take on the world
So what does it matter?
I avert my eyes, in case he is a god.

He is almost too handsome to be human
Stories about his heroic deeds are legends
Which is unusual during a person’s lifetime
Others stand staring, gawking,
With their mouths open
I stare at them instead.
Less danger.

This reminds me vaguely of someone from Camelot, Caren. Can't think of his name.

I can't either but I am glad you thought of that because there was a picture prompt and I could not figure out who it reminded me of until you mentioned Camelot. Good ole what's his name.
