Hero

HERO

Externally I watch the moon
with no reflection in my loft 
I lay awake perchance to dream

to ponder while my eyes are closed
to seek a quietude of peace 
an atmosphere that it may seem

away from all the revelry
and soon a vivid dream will bloom
a skirmish with my deadly foes

of braving battle till I win 
to claim the beauty I adore
my overt thoughts despite the throes

my enemies have  been subdued 
their strenght abated by my lance
I am the hero of my Dame

my dream is a reality
in context with my sanity
my former dream has been acclaimed
