Heres Your Perfect

Here’s your perfect

I remember the day that we first met 
I never knew then how much  I wish I could press reset 
Oh how I tried and I tried to be perfect for you 
Do you even recognise how you’ve hurt me and have a clue ? 
I tried and I tried  to make us great 
But all you did was take take take 
I remember the day that I  actually fell for you 
 For some reason that I can’t  forget even if I wanted to 
I’ve realised now I’ve had time , My best was just fine
But we were  flawed by design and you  couldn’t help but cross that  line 
So you won’t see me reach out and  break 
Because this one is your mistake 
One thing I asked was for you to never lie 
Oh the times you’ve made me cry ! 
The fact I still care and want you to be happy  drives me insane 
Even after all this pain 
See I know that I’m not perfect 
But  by design were all flawed and have a defect
But  now I’ve found  a perfect way to let you go 
 I don’t need to Say my last hello 
I really hope  it was all  worth it 
 Because you’re far from “perfect”
