Here's To You

You hurt me more than anyone
But it was well worth the pain
Because without your selfish attitude
I would never have experienced this gain

Do you realize what you did?
You tore me down, hurt my heart
Shattered my idea of love and truth
Until I found the strength to part

I let you get into my head
You easily played with my mind
When deep down you honestly knew
A girl like me you’d never find

So here’s to your immaturity
Selfishness and insecurity
For if not for your harmful words and ways
I’d prolly still be hurting these days
