Here's the Real Deal

Scared, anxious, and tearful
Hopeful, wanting to get it over
Thoughts random and racing
Not the life I want or need
Wells of brine, release the tension
Vibrations, spasms of grief

I can feel the essence of this poem. There are times when one has to play out the hand that is dealt. It's always an adventure. Great job! Joseph

Dear Doris, this is ironically just how I am feeling. There are some things going on of which you are probably not aware, but I will only be signing on occasionally to offer comments and will no longer be posting poetry. God bless you for always showing such kindness in your comments. Love, Carolyn
