Here You Can Be Anyone
In here you can be who you want to be.
The trick is, its you who they can't see.
We are just pseudo-names with a blank face,
and anyone can join, in this never ending space.
If you can't stand your body and feel guilt,
just pop on here, and tell everyone you're built.
Even the puny and weak can be great,
and some come here to find a quick date.
In here we say what we want to say,
because we know we'll live to fight another day.
We make up lies about our careers and dreams,
and everyone is impressed, by this live stream.
I just don't understand, if these are the lives we want,
then why do people come here and put on a front?
If this is the life you desire and want to lead,
then go do it and make it true what we read.
So give up your days of gloom
and stop dreaming of a life in your costume,
and be the person you are outside of this chat room.
