Here With Me

Knowing you're with another
Is more than I can stand
My heart drowns in water
While my soul remains on land
Haunting itself for true love
Wishing for what could have been
Waiting to be sent above
Searching fulfillment once again
You can't see when you're hurting
In times of need, I stand beside
Reaching out, passion still burning
To my one and only, I cannot lie

For you I would do anything
If you stay here with me
My heart will rise and sing
Soul completed with destiny

Even though I'm not real
And you cry tears of sorrow
Again, I'll tell you how I feel
Today and tomorrow
Relieving pain and anger
With just a simple touch
We belong together
Because we love each other this much
When I can no longer be here
And memories begin to fade
I'll whisper in your ear
Remember the love that we made
