Here It Is Again

For so long I thought I'd run, Left all the death and wondered on, Yet I see it's there again, I don't want to feel that awful pain. To many now have left this life, All my friends, my joy, my light, And though I still have my love and child, I think of those death has defiled. Four more soul's for immortal sleep, Some to young and some to deep, I can't cut or slice or cry, I am watched by to many eye's. As night ends I feel the chill, I know that they are with me still, Not to hurt or make me mad, But to keep me safe and warm and glad.
