Here I'Ll Rise

Footsteps fall gently on the side walk
People going here and fro
Passing the time here below

Watching and waiting
The second hand ticks on
Pushing and fighting
New changes come
Crying and dying
The carousel moves on
On and on it goes again
On and on this day never ends
It’s like we’re stuck on repeat
Too proud to admit defeat

I can watch the walls fall
Watch them crumble down
Dreams lying on the ground
Watch myself lose it all

Sinking slowly
Broken and lonely
And the carousel moves on
Relentlessly going on

When life ends and hopes dashes
Sitting at the edge of my demise
Coming out of the ashes
Its here I’ll rise

Kimberly, carousel of life never stops. In this fair of Eternity, we lose ourselves in the crowd to discover ourselves. This is God's design. This is a wonderful poem. Love XXX rajat

Hard and few are the days here on earth -- but eternality waits . . . walk in faith my friend.
