Here For You
When life shows you any pain let me help for I don’t know what else to do,
It breaks my heart seeing you like this, and my heart is screaming out to you.
Your coffee sits cold on the table; my heart on the floor where it last fell.
I know you are lost in so many emotions; let me help you escape from out of this hell.
Watching you in pain from the window, all alone and sitting on the ground,
In the confusion you don’t notice what I see; you’re the light that shines through darkened
clouds.
So won’t you let me come out just to hold you; you can lay your head upon my chest.
Let your tears fall down around us, and let your body and mind come to rest.
Just let all the anger and sadness out that you need to, and you may find it easier to breathe.
If you need to scream and yell give it all to me; I won’t run I wouldn’t leave.
Give me the chance to give you all my strength, and show you all that I am,
I’ll stay with you forever; I’ll be here right up to the end.
Never would I let sadness or pain come between us; only words of love and warmth will
come from my mouth.
You’re so close to an angel that I have ever seen; so in your heart let there never be doubt.
So I’ll sit out here on the step waiting for you; I’ll stay here till I hear you call my name.
I’ll help you see these clouds aren’t forever; then sun will shine through and you will see
clearly again.
