Here Again

…here again
I know that I’m not supposed to,
But I’m thinking about you,
I know I’ll never have your name,
but I dream all the same.
I can’t believe I’m here again.

First time you came into my life,
I was too young to know love,
Now you are back again in my life
And I find no space for me on your life
I can’t believe I’m here again.

I lie awake late at night
I wish I could tell which way is right,
Shall I try to make you love me,
Or shall I just let things be
I can’t believe I’m here again

I wish I remembered how much it hurt
Then I could have protected my heart
From a love so cruel, a love so vain
That can only cause me more pain
I can’t believe I’m here again.

So now you smile, and I look away
In my heart, I pray for strength for another day
Who know maybe tomorrow will bring
Another tune that will make my heart sing
I can’t believe I’m here again
