Yep, there's one in every crowd. I sometimes think they are hard of hearing and that is why they talk so loudly. I used to talk loud for that very reason. My hearing aides are a godsend.

I do not. I learned early on the value of speaking low in the classroom, and I always reminded, "I'll only say this twice, so listen up." Most of the time you could hear a pin drop, except there was always one kid who would say, uh, what did you say???? I shriveled that kid with a look!

I am glad that you have them for it is so annoying to others when you have a shrill voice and are shrieking. You do not have a shrill voice, right?
