Her Sketch

The lines seem to find each other I finally draw the eyes correctly And everything seems perfect She is drawn in one of her favorite shirts Her hair is fluffy, her nose pointed Her eyebrows sit above her eyes Knowing their place I do not draw her smiling I refuse to sketch a lie She doesn't always smile Please don't ask me why Her smiles are rare And when she smiles The entire world glows When she smiles It's also like forgetting Like forgetting how she is wired And how I'm wired We share many things in common But this similarity between us is one That both of us would rather not understand But though I do not draw her smiling I'll still hold her hand
