Her Seasons
With Her breath enhancing the coolness of the air
While colorful leaves are turning the trees
Wildlife looking to burrow in pairs
Or preparing to flee to a warmer breeze.
Getting darker with the day's end sooner
Scurrying to grasp every ray of sunshine
The day's duties are hurried to woo Her
For daylight's precious moments are timed.
From morning's fresh dew to dog day's end
All creations are Her intent to be insighted
The seasons are changing once again
Be prepared and She will be delighted.
For those who have not the choice to care
Will sadly and quietly learn life's lesson
The workers and worshipers She'll spare
And keep them safe amongst Her bossom.
The lost ones are a random stream
Flowing everlasting to one pool
The righteous swim to their land of dreams
While others swirl into evolution's hole.
Now the ground turns white from flakes above
The remembrance of warm breezes dangle our hopes
As we all settle in and embrace our rendition of love
She endears us with knowledge as how to cope.
When Her warm breath lets frozen waters flow free
Cool nights and warm days allow blossoms to bloom
The now bare with white branches will again be green
Sunshine will replace these days of gloom.
Wildlife and insects will be abundantly present
The birds will be swooshing and singing their songs
While sounds of children's voices playing vent
Through the valleys and hills all the day's long.
She works endlessly and without much effort
Expects nothing in return while lending Her help
Ones with love and respect has left Her
With smiles of codling from Mother Nature Herself.
