Her Place

As the sun sets, The sky fills with hues of pink, purple, orange, and blue, Creating a beautiful, breath taking view, The sound of the waves crashing on to the shore then quickly rushing back out to sea, Gives a calm feeling of peace and harmony, She walks along the shoreline, Letting the water rush to her feet, This is the place where her and sanity meet, The cool gentle ocean breeze blows against her, Pushing back her beautiful soft brown hair out of her face, She says to herself "this is my favorite place," This is her place, Where all her troubles get washed away, Nothing gets in her way when she jumps in her lovers arms, This is her place where nothing can do her any harm, This is her place to escape.
