Her Own Way
She goes her own way,
With nobody to hold her back.
Free to do whatever she wants,
If only it was as simple as that.
She sings a song of fatal attractions,
Not knowing where it came from.
For even though she's close to amazing,
She's never felt the wonder of love.
She dreams of being perfect,
Which is an impossible goal.
You don't have to tell her this,
For it seems she already knows.
She sees that her time will end,
And looks forward to it with sorrow.
As she bundles up her courage and,
Holds her head up facing tomorrow.
