Her Gaze

She rests,
Head on the table
Her hair flowing freely
A damsel to behold

Dressed in cream
Her gown ends just above her knee
Fitted to fit
From shoulder to hips

She rests,
As a featherless bird
Her flight is still far...
But her gaze on me I await
