Her Eyes

What do you see,
when you look into her eyes?
Do you see joy,
or years worth of lies?

Does she blink quick,
or at a slow and steady pace?
Does the glow in her eye,
match the smile on her face?

Take time and look close.
Her eyes show what's inside.
All of the memories,
she so chooses to hide.

Watch how they move.
Do they go left to right?
Watch her lashes hold back,
the tears they always fight.

What is she thinking?
Boy if you only knew.
She spends her hours,
thinking only of you.

Your eyes connect,
she quickly looks away.
Little does she know,
you could spend all day,

gazing into her eyes,
into the depths of her heart.
When looking at her beauty,
it's like looking at priceless art.

So much history hidden,
most you'll never know.
Could you be the one,
to whom she let's go,

of all her inner demons,
stemming from her past?
Could you be the one,
that actually makes love last?

If you want to know her
and really capture her heart,
well listen to this advice,
her eyes are the place to start.
