Her Eyes

Her Eyes
Where to begin when all is from the past
when memories leave scars that seem to last
But when I find myself lost in deep thought,
I can't find anything of which we fought
or of times that wore heavy on my heart,
I just see your beautiful face and eyes
Only those eyes saw through me and my lies
Just those eyes saw the boy and dreamt the man
whether by some masterful designed plan
or not God placed you in my life again
and whispered in my ear to drop whats been,
that when i see you once more hearts shall rise,
and I myself can stare into those eyes...
 if only just once more
