Her Eyes

She smiles big and bright
She laughs loud and beautiful
She paints a picture of joy and happiness
She paints a picture of calm
But if you just look
Look into her eyes
Look into those deep blue seas of emotion
Turbulent seas of emotion
With violent winds of pain
Winds that scream and howl in agony
With monstrous waves of self loathing
Waves that beat her into submission
With heavy rains of insecurity
Rains that pelt her and whisper all of her faults
Its a hurricane
A hurricane of depression that destroys her mind
And all you see is the eye of the the storm
Storm
A thunderstorm of anxiety explodes through it all
Explodes and shakes the foundation that holds her facade
So you see if you just look
Look deep into her eyes and you will see that the pictures she paints are a work of fiction
So just look and see the picture of truth painted deep in her eyes
